1975 Born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture and brought in Shiga Prefecture
1998 Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts (Dying and Weaving Course, Department of Arts)
Worked for a mass production apparel brand as a designer for 12 years and moved to Kanazawa
Studied under Yoshigaura Etsuko and Anada Setsuyo and subsequently produced obi and kimonos for a local kimono manufacturer.
2022 Awarded with the Commemoration Prize for Kanazawa’s Designation as an International City of Crafts in the 78th Kanazawa Craft Exhibition
