When she saw a bamboo basket exhibited in a museum, she was fascinated with its delicate fabric-like texture. Wanting to learn in detail about the weaving and form-making methods devised by her predecessors, in 2017 she enrolled in the bamboo crafts course at the Kanazawa School of Rare and Traditional Industries. She learned for six years under Wachokusai Motoe and Saori Hashimoto. She is just starting out; she would like to create works that can be used in modern lifestyles.
