Graduated from Ishikawa Institute of Kutani Ceramics

Studied under Yoshida Minori (Living National Treasure).
Considers it his mission to pursue painting and decoration that are well-suited to this age.
Uses various painting techniques such as gold painting, “aka-e” fine red painting and painting using gold and other color pigments.
Aims to create gold painting works that suit to the contemporary life.
