Since its establishment in 1920 by a Kutani ceramic painter, the shop has been run by three successive generations in front of the Ishikawa Gate of Kanazawa Castle. The pattern of flowers filling entire surfaces has been popular in Kanazawa for a long time. The shop exhibits and sells dishes with patterns featuring flowers and pretty women.
